Gold Leaf Restoration specializes in conservation .The structural elements and joinery are strengthened, loose ornaments are reattached, or fabricated, and gesso is consolidated to prevent further deterioration of the finish. Restoration and cosmetic repairs are made with regard to the clients needs and our recommendations for historic accuracy. In general, the processes used in the repair areas are the same as those used on the original finish.

Restoration projects include fully gilded or parcel gilt picture and mirror frames, clocks, furniture, musical instruments, and architectural elements.
